Geocast
Business Plan • Market Research • Media Strategy • Partnership Strategy • Forecasting Model • Investor, Press, and Analyst Tour • Executive Coaching
In early stage startups, it’s not uncommon to hold a variety of roles. Just as technology and business models must be able to pivot and adapt, the same is true for people.
As one of the first non-engineering hires of Geocast (Kleiner Perkins – Mayfield – IVP), I held content programming, marketing and business development responsibilities as the company raised funding and partnerships for a new personalized content platform leveraging unique engineering IP.
On day 1, I was tasked with evolving the company’s business plan and pitch, and later prepping executives for an investor roadshow. As Director of Programming Strategy, I provided the creative media perspective and programming insights that bridged engineering, product management, user experience, and business development through consumer research, creative concepts, and forecasting models.
